YouMail can unify your cell phone, home phone, and work phone voicemail. All your messages are transcribed with voicemail to text, and they wind up in a single mailbox. Messages clearly identify which number was called, and you can have a separate greeting for each line. No more having to search and manage multiple inboxes.

How unified inbox works

All you have to do is forward your missed calls from any phone number to YouMail. That's usually a few clicks or dialing a few simple codes. Then YouMail figures out which number was called, plays the right greeting, takes the messages, and puts them in your mailbox, clearly labeled as home, cell, or work – whatever you want to call them!

It's super easy! Once you've upgraded to YouMail Plus or YouMail Premium, just tell YouMail that you're adding another number. Then just follow the forwarding directions. EASY!

Frequently asked questions

Typically, the answer is yes. For Landlines, just call your landline phone company and ask them to enable CFB/NA (Call forward busy and unanswered calls) to your YouMail Deposit Number. For VOIP phones: Add your landline phone number to your YouMail account here. Set 'Conditional Call Forwarding' (also known as 'busy/no answer call forwarding') to your YouMail Deposit Number.

Once you've unified your home and cell, just ignore any call that comes from a number you don't recognize. Those calls are routed to YouMail and our technology will determine whether it's a robocaller and automatically play the out of service greeting. If one is missed, all you have to do is tap the giant circle/slash on the voicemail or hang-up page in our apps after the call, and that helps YouMail learn which callers need to be ignored.
